This video was a request to develop a long evergreen holiday video for Baby Lock sewing machines that could be divided up into smaller 15 second ad videos. The idea I came up with was to create a sense of nostalgia around the sewing machines, and to then associate that with the independent retailers which are the primary revenue drivers for the brand. After developing the concept further I served as the storyboard artist, director, set designer, editor, and created the motion graphics.
For this launch campaign I created a series of teaser images and a reveal video to generate interest in a new high-end sewing machine. The teaser images were designed to give hints at the machine before the full reveal. The video was designed to match the teaser images, while also incorporating a space theme based on the Solaris name. I directed, edited, and created the motion graphics for the video.
This ad, along with four shorter videos, was part of a broader launch campaign for four new sewing machines. These videos were designed to show off the features of the new machines and to market them to a variety of different demographics. My role on this video project was director, camera operator, editor, and animator.
The brief for this video was to create an ad to educate customers and retailers about Baby Lock events. This video was part of a larger rebranding effort to try and target a younger demographic and encourage customers to shop at independent retailers. I was the camera operator, editor, and animator for this video.
These are some of the shirt designs I've made for Baby Lock’s annual trade show. These shirts are usually meant to be fun and lighthearted, and us in the creative department would usually come up with sewing puns to put on them.
Baby Lock drastically changed the layout of their spec sheets and I was tasked with helping to develop the new style, as well as convert all of the old sheets into the new style. This project involved working closely with the brand and product teams to make sure that all of the necessary information made the transition and was formatted for the new layout. I also created POP posters for new product launches and product bundle campaigns.
We had access to an on-site print shop at Baby Lock, so as a result I worked on a large amount of print material. Examples of this work include brochures for online classes, large product catalogs, and instructions for different tools and accessories. These jobs generally involved working closely with product teams and also working with the print shop.
